Schools should be responsive to the parents who are their real employers.<BR/><BR/>That being said, It is a tough issue. If you go the other way and allow any religious celebration from any faith group represented in the school, you pit one group against another. There probably is a happy medium that can be charted by reasonable thinking people, but I believe that unless reasonable thought is stipulated in the Collective Bargaining Agreement of whichever local iteration of the teachers' union is, they can't do it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
