I visited the World Trade Center in...I never will. I visited the World Trade Center in the past and the summer before the attack I tried to take my son up to the top to see the view. However there was a lightning storm and they shut down the visit.<BR/><BR/>I always wondered (have you ever heard) why they picked the date of Sept. 11th because if it had been in the summer lots of children would have been visiting the top of the towers.<BR/><BR/>Secondly I remember the plaza down below where at noon there was usually music performances near the fountain while carts sold food to the office workeres. It was all destroyed of course.<BR/><BR/>Finally I remember the view from on top and the great height and winds and can only wonder at the desperation of the people who jumped from the towers to their death.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
