A Must-Read!

I just finished Natan Sharansky's The Case for Democracy. What a terrific book. His section on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process is excellent. Sharansky never felt it was possible for Israel to make peace with a dictatorial Palestinian Authority. His view was that while Palestinian elections are nice, it would have been better to have a 3-year period to build up some democratic institutions...and then have elections. Sharansky was a party to many of the peace negotiations, and has some good stories to tell. Read the book, please!
