Gay Marriage Moves a Step Forward....
The House of Commons has moved a step forward towards passing the Gay Marriage Act, by defeating a conservative motion to keep marriage between one man and one woman.
Still the vote was close (164-132) and only four conservatives voted against the motion. Sigh, if only we could count on 25% support from the conservatives (like gay marriage got at the conservative convention), I'd feel a lot better about going to the polls.
The last thing I want is an election fought on gay marriage.
