BBC bosses get 25% bonuses...

BBC executives just got a 25% bonus. But, does anybody know why?
Details of the payouts were disclosed in the BBC's annual report. Executives picked up an average 24.9 per cent performance bonus, up two per cent on last year. The National Union of Journalists said the BBC needed public service standards and values. The bonuses were a "slap in the face" for BBC staff who faced uncertain futures.
It can't be because of their excellent performance!
