Good news for India...

This is going to dramatically change India...
The dream of owning a computer has come a step closer for up to 100 million Indians following the launch of a desktop PC for just 9,990 rupees, or £130.

The super-cheap computer - available for less than £4 per month - will further boost India's information technology revolution, which has already led thousands of western firms to outsource work to the sub-continent.

The size of India's computer-literate workforce is expected to explode in the next decade as PC ownership takes off.

Currently there are only 15 million computers in India (pop 1.1 billion). But by the end of the decade analysts predict that this figure will have increased five-fold.
India has always lagged behind China, which has about 60 million computers.
