Iran executes 2 more gay men...
How many gays have to be executed before countries complain?
Two men have been hanged in a public square in northern Iran after being found guilty of homosexuality a semi-official newspaper reported on Sunday.
The daily newspaper Kayhan said that the execution was carried out in the northern city of Gorgan. The paper reported the men had been found guilty under Islamic law of lavat, or homosexual sex.
The report identified the men, identified as Mokhtar N., 24, and Ali A., 25. The account claimed the men had “criminal past” that included kidnapping and rape.
Similar allegations have been made in the past when Iran executed gay men. Exiled Iranian groups say that the allegations are commonly used to justify hangings.

I wonder if Bush could pick up some support from the left if he were to decide to attack Iran now.

"This is sick and we ARE importing these cultural values into our country."
WOw, how incredibly ignorant and racist. I'm sure Iraqi's were really accepting of moron Americans invading their country too with their pseudo-liberal values and "democracy" bringing, but guess what they didn't have a choice.
And if you actually think that all Iranians or Arabs for that matter agree with this atrocity than your ignorance is just further amplified right there. These are impositions that are being put on by a controlling govt, hardly the strong opinions of the whole populace.
Just more evidence that you conservatives are a bunch of raving racists... no wonder nobody in Canada respects you idiots!
Oh and i guess calling yourself "gay and conservative" makes you really clever doesn't it? "oh look at me! i'm gay but i wanna be the unobtrusive "nice" kind of gay that people want!". How pathetic. Your ilk are a dying breed, so why even bother? Gay conservatism is contradictory in most parts anyway.
You wil never see leadership from the Conservative aprty onthis issue. While Conservatives like a good war they would not raise a finger to help gay people.
It is sad that you think the gay community can be served by the reform conservatives. You show poor judgment.
This shows the true colors of Iran and Islamic Extremism.
Unfortunately, you won't every see politicians like Bush condemn this, because the religious right would like to have the same policy here.
