The politically-correct mafia strike again...
So-called diversity training is a modern-day curse.
Ed Swan considers himself a basic social conservative, opposed to gay marriage, affirmative action and the notion that affluent white men are responsible for a lot of social injustice.
The Washington State University student also opposes abortion and wrote "diversity is perversity" in the margins of a textbook.
Swan's attitude prompted his professors in the WSU College of Education to order him into diversity training, and almost caused Swan, 42, to be kicked out of the teacher-training program.
He fought back by contacting the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, a Philadelphia-based group that battles political correctness at universities.
"They want liberals out there teaching kids," Swan complained about the College of Education. "To me, it seems mainstream opinions got me in trouble."

I agree Ed Swan's indoctrination treatment is bad, yet I think you failed to emphasize an important point in your post. Instead of going deeper into the matter and make a case for the high ground to discuss, you just let it as a copy and paste rant against PC liberals.
As for the major point: is this treatment any different, from Jack Drescher’s report mentions, on what "Christian" conservative schools and colleges have been and currently doing to their gay students who are out/ed? That is forcing them to either undergo reperative "therapy" or kicking them out of school, not to mention having them outted you to their parents (many of which who are anti-gay).
I'd like to hear your opinion on this.
PS: I recommend you to visit indegayforum.com and exgaywatch.com. They’re the queer blogs I frequent the most, but then again indegayforum.com is about American politics rather than Canadian.

I am on the fence regardig Christian schools. I think that Private Schools should be allowed some lattitude....but of course, I am firmly against trying to change anybody's sexuality. It doesn't work.
The public system should allow for diversity of thought....and it should get rid of all this PC crap.
