Prime Minister Layton to mull over healthcare proposals....

Mr. Dosanjh has been working hard all day to give our Prime Minister the best possible proposal on healthcare.

NDP Leader Jack Layton is expected to respond Friday to a Liberal health-care proposal that could decide whether he will force a pre-holiday election.

Health Minister Ujjal Dosanjh drafted a deal that the NDP is expected to receive late Thursday. Layton will then pour over it and announce whether it satisfies his health-care demands on Friday.

At least Dosanjh knows who's the boss.
