Mass graves found in Lebanon...

The village is right near where Syrian Intelligence was based.

Lebanon said Saturday the authorities have discovered a mass grave near a holy shrine in a village in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.

The official Lebanese news agency said the internal security authorities unearthed the graves and found human bones and skulls near the shrine of Prophet al-Uzair in the village of Anjar.

The agency added the remains were collected and taken to the forensic department to conduct DNA tests to identify the bodies.

It said the authorities embarked on digging after receiving information of a mass grave where the bodies of unidentified human beings were buried there over the past years.

According to Lebanese security sources, the authorities Saturday discovered 20 bodies in the grave, including a body that was dressed in military fatigues.
