Free speech in Yemen!
It will be interesting to see what the penalty is....
Three chief editors of Yemeni papers will stand trial on charges of offending Islam for publishing the Danish cartoons of Islam's prophet, Information Ministry officials said Saturday.
The Yemen Observer, al-Ra'i el-Am and al-Huriya will also have their licenses suspended, the officials said. The three privately owned weekly newspapers printed the drawings last week, amid Muslim outrage that led to attacks on European embassies and angry demonstrations around the world.
Information Ministry officials said the three editors are charged with offending the prophet of Islam and violating religions.
