If they don't like cartoons...how about textbooks?
This is the sort of thing you'd expect from Europeans...hopefully this is a lone voice.
A call by a member of the European Parliament has been made for the creation of a special committee to examine religious education and textbooks in schools to insure that the content does not offend Islam. Hans-Gert Pöttering from Germany, who heads the largest group of MEPs, said that textbooks should be reviewed for intolerant depictions of Islam and other faiths by experts overseen by the European Union and Islamic leaders. He added that the work of building bridges between Islam and the West had to "begin with young people," and said that “textbooks should be checked to ensure they promoted European values without propagating religious stereotypes or prejudice.” Pöttering suggested that the EU could co-operate with the 56-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference, which has its headquarters in Saudi Arabia, to create a textbook review committee.

What a Quisling. Our society has nothing to apologize for. Islamic countries have nothing to be proud of.
We are not perfect in our way, they are horrible in theirs.
