Hurricane Season is Over!
Neil Boortz says it all.
The hurricane experts are now telling us that the season is essentially over. There will be no more hurricanes this year. Oops ... I meant to say that there will be NO hurricanes this year. None. We've gone through the season and not one single hurricane has touched the United States.
Now that doesn't mean we didn't have our moments of irrational panic. Florida officials rushed to close schools and declare states of emergency a month or so ago when a tropical depression ran up the Florida east coast. After all, we don't want those school busses out there on the roads when the wind blows over 25 miles per hour (as it does in nearly every Florida thunderstorm) now do we?
Well this is all good news, right? Well .. if you live in Florida if might be good news. But for the nation's global warming alarmists this is not good news at all. The global warming crowd was hope, truly hoping for a devastating hurricane season. After Katrina last year they were sounding the alarms over even more hideous destruction to come this year --- all because of those SUVs causing all of that global warming around the world.
Well -- it didn't happen. In fact, the sea surface temperatures in the portion of the Atlantic where these storms are bred declined a degree or two. Now how in the world is that going to happen when we're experiencing so much global warming?

It's nice that the Hurricane season fizzled this year, but if there is no global warming, why is the arctic melting?
Cool! Another Canadian Boortz fan.
Gotta love the "Mouth of the South"
"but if there is no global warming, why is the arctic melting?"
because the air temperature is warm enough to cause the ice to melt why else? That does not prove man made CO2 emissions are the cause
