Antarctica gaining ice....

I always like these little tidbits that suggest we don't know everything about climate.
Contrary to all the horror stories one hears about global warming-induced mass wastage of the Antarctic ice sheet leading to rising sea levels that gobble up coastal lowlands worldwide, the most recent decade of pertinent real-world data suggest that forces leading to just the opposite effect are apparently prevailing, even in the face of what climate alarmists typically describe as the greatest warming of the world in the past two millennia or more.

any study that is contrary to the man made global warming dogma simply has to be wrong or funded by evil oil barons right?

This compliments your http://gayandright.blogspot.com/2006/11/nice-rebuttal-on-global-warming.html post nicely. I just had a thought. Next time there is an ice age and water is locked up in ice, New Orleans may become above sea level once again. Now seeing as how the big freeze that happened 70,000 years ago almost wiped out mankind (according to DNA studies), perhaps New Orleans won't be our biggest worry.

hmmm... an Ice Age is a far more likely climate change scenario than any other, and they can actually happen fairly rapidly in geologic terms. Wearing Furs may become popular again...

Isn't it funny how information or reports contrary to the Global Warming dogma are immediately dismissed.

These reports show that the answer isn't so simple as GHG - Global Warming - Man Made - Disaster.

Clearly a more indepth analysis and comparison of data is required to give the world the true picture of it's state and where is might be heading in the future.

Questions remain:

Global Warming? Global Dimming? Man Made? Natural? Ice Melting? Ice Building up? Cosmic Rays? Is there something we can do? Should we be focusing on how to deal with the results?

Just more "proof" of global warming -- Warmer climate equals more evaporation equals more precipitation equals more ice.

Doesn't matter what you find, the Global Warming-istas got ya!
