Are polio vaccines an American plot?
Most people would think that is a really stupid question...but not some clerics in Pakistan.
The parents of 24,000 children in northern Pakistan refused to allow health workers to administer polio vaccinations last month, mostly due to rumours that the harmless vaccine was an American plot to sterilise innocent Muslim children.
The disinformation - spread by extremist clerics using mosque loudspeakers and illegal radio stations, and by word of mouth - has caused a sharp jump in polio cases in Pakistan and hit global efforts to eradicate the debilitating disease.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) recorded 39 cases of polio in Pakistan in 2006, up from 28 in 2005. The disease is concentrated in North-West Frontier Province, where 60% of the refusals were attributed to "religious reasons".

Well, the answer is pretty clear - get out of Pakistan, take your vaccine with you but do NOT allow a polio Pakistani to come here after's he or she is afflicted. Frig em .
Stopping all immigration from Pakistan in order to protect the Canadian people is an excellent idea.
It't not just Muslim nut-jobs thinking this way. I have had more than one Christian clergyman (one Presbyterian, and one not sure which Baptist kind he was) tell me with a straight face that the polio vaccine was a Jewish plot. Salk and Sabin, both Jewish as I recall. Anyway, it was a Jewish plot to get people to take this vaccine that does I forget what.
Something like the "leaders" in the "black" "community" going on about how Jews invented the AIDS virus, blah blah blah.
I had NO idea my people had this much power!
