Halloween now called Autumn...
Another story of political correctness gone crazy...this time in the UK...
A school is planning to axe Halloween in a bid to avoid offending religious parents.
Pupils at Tonna Primary School in Wales were looking forward donning spooky costumes for a traditional Halloween party.
Instead teachers at the school in Neath want October 31 to be called the Autumn Festival and will celebrate it with a regular disco.
Parents have branded the banning of Halloween as "another example of political correctness gone mad."
One furious mum said: "It's unbelievable that they should mess around with a night of fun for the kids who have been looking foward to it.
"Children all over the World dress up and the trick-and-treat night is an enjoyable part of them growing up.
"The Parent-Teacher Association is trying to sort out the Halloween disco but this year the school doesn't want it to be called Halloween disco.
"The teachers said it may offend some people which is ridiculous. We've had a Halloween disco for years now but now they want to call it the Autumn Disco.
"I think it's political correctness gone mad again."
