Palestinians launch rocket from UN-run school in Gaza....
Nice of them to wait until the school was empty...
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has been ordered to investigate a rocket attack against Israel allegedly launched by Palestinian militants from inside an empty U.N. school in the Gaza Strip.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Thursday condemned and asked for a full investigation of the latest abuse of U.N. facilities, saying it was a serious violation of the UN's privileges and immunities.
Inquiries made so far indicate that the school had been evacuated at the time of the rocket attack to ensure the safety of both the staff and the pupils during an Israeli military incursion, the U.N. said in a press statement.
Palestinian militants entered the school while it was empty and then fired rockets from the compound, it said.
