Museum refuses to show Mohammed photos...

Mohammed is portrayed as a homosexual...could you imagine the outrage in the muslim world....
Artistic photographs and a video in which Mohammed is portrayed as homosexual will not be displayed in the Hague Municipal Museum.

The "Adam and Ewald" project of Sooreh Hera exhibits two homosexual men wearing masks of Mohammed and his son-in-law Ali. Hera also took photographs of Dutch gay couples.

Museum directors decided not to exhibit the works of female artist Sooreh Hera because they "will be seen as insulting by certain groups in the community." Hera thinks the museum is afraid to show the photos.

The museum says it selected and invited Sooreh Hera for this exhibition on artistic grounds and not for the exhibition to become a political forum. Hera says that the director knew what he was getting into. "He thought the work was beautiful. I thought, finally, someone with courage", says Hera. "Apparently a Muslim minority decides what museums will exhibit."
