European CO2 output keeps rising....

The Europeans keep tell us they are serious about reducing CO2 emissions...but it's all talk....

Despite reduction targets, major European electricity producers have increased their carbon emissions since 2007 according to a report released by PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) last week.

The total CO2 emissions for 2007 from 22 European companies have increased by 23 million tonne (Mt), which is up 3% from the previous year. The increase from 2006 equals emission increases over the five previous years, according to the report.
