Why does Israel feed its enemies????

Isn't it time to say enough is enough???
And then there’s the issue relating to Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians in Gaza. Lauren Booth, sister-in-law of former British premier Tony Blair, recently entered Gaza aboard a protest boat on August 23 and told Ynet News in Israel that Gaza was "the largest concentration camp in the world today" and a "humanitarian crisis on the scale of Darfur." She was later photographed at a seemingly well-stocked grocery store in the so-called "concentration camp." So, let’s consider how these Israeli “monsters” have behaved. Hamas has declared its intention to destroy Israel and murder every Jew residing there, and has fired over 7,000 missiles at southern Israel. In return, Israel is providing 70% of Gaza’s electrical power and, each week sends tons of food, fuel and humanitarian aid to an enemy whose entire rationale for existence is the extermination or subjugation of every Jew in Israel. During World War II, the Allies firebombed Dresden, obliterated German cities, and dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Israel feeds its enemies!

People are still starving in Gaza, don't have electricity, but that's another point.

The people in Gaza, have nowhere to go, they are trapped like animals, maybe Israel should just starve all those woman and children to death, not like it would be genocide or anything...

Israel has created it's own enemy in the Palestinian people, it's taken its land, and homes.

Maybe we should praise Israel for providing some Palestinians with the basics to live, kudos. That's very big of them.

Israel is helping the humanitarian crisis it's created.

"People are still starving in Gaza, don't have electricity, but that's another point."

Khaled Abdel Shaafi, director the United Nations Development Program said about Gaza: "This is not a humanitarian crisis. It's an economic crisis, a political crisis, but it's not a humanitarian crisis. People aren't starving... children are not suffering from malnutrition."

Their Arab neighbours don't want them either, so nice try.

If Israel put down it's arms every Jew would be slaughtered.

If Palestinians put down their arms, after a time of trust building there would be peace.

So, don't attack Israel.

"the largest concentration camp in the world today"

Israel has created this ghetto through occupation. It is disgusting that a nation created from goodwill of a tragic event will herself become a perpetrator. God did not promise land to anyone. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Violence is wrong and I hope for peace...

What a silly comment by anonymous. If Gaza is a concentration camp, it is of their own making. Gaza has a border with Egypt and should not have to depend on israel for anything. Gazans have chosen to use their money for bombs and rockets, rather than for a better life for its citizens.

Israel did not creat "this ghetto through occupation". Gaza is not under occupation....

Fred, what a silly comment.
Gaza is under occupation. Israel controls Gaza's land, air, and sea borders, most of the territory's electricity, water, and sewage capacity, its telecommunications networks and population registry, and it regularly conducts military operations inside Gaza. The border with Egypt you mention has Israeli monitors. This is not a free territory. This is a land occupied by Israel.

Israel does not 'regularly' conduct operations in Gaza, at all. It may 'monitor' the border gazan border with Egypt, but so what. Gaza still has an independent border with Egypt.

Had the Palestinians used their money for constructive purposes over the last 20 years, instead of building smuggling tunnels, bombs and rockets, they'd have a thriving economy. But, they have chosen misery.

If you didn't know, Gaza was occupied by Israel 20 years ago too...

Yes, and the Israelis vacated Gaza completely in 2005. Or did you miss that?

Are you reading selectively?
"Israel controls Gaza's land, air, and sea borders, most of the territory's electricity, water, and sewage capacity, its telecommunications networks and population registry, and it conducts military operations inside Gaza. This is a land occupied by Israel."
I removed the word 'regularly', but it is still as damning. There might not be any more settlements there like 20 years ago, but Gaza is still occupied by Israel.

Is it Israel's fault that most of gaza's electricity, for example, comes from israel? As I have repeatedly said, the palestinians have had decades to build the infrastructure they need - but they have insisted on spending their money on bombs, rockets and building smuggling tunnels.

As for sewage - nothing stops the Palestinians from building proper sewage...

You can keep claiming the Gaza is occupied by Israel - but nobody is fooled.

The biggest mistake Israel made was that they expected arabs to act like civilized human beings instead of barbarians.

not one arab country will permit palis to become citizens..not one. why? because they hate palis more than anything.

Truth be it told Palestinian people lost their land to a movement called Zionism in 1948. Now they live in occupied territory controlled by Israel. Israel feeds their enemies but much more needs to be done to be able to live in peace. Israel is not moving forward in making peace. Money is power and we cannot expect the Palestinian people to initiate the peace process of which they desire to have. It is true the Palestinian people do not wish to have peace if it means having to live under the current conditions.

My thought is the both the US and Israel can do better. It would benefit Israel by having peace, US could spend their money in better areas and Palestinians to start living in their own homeland instead of occupied territory.

Does this concept make sense to any one? If so, then if your are going to say something make sure it is positive and the words help all in moving forward.
