A big problem for the Jews....
There's something very unsettling about all the Anti-Israel protests...
The world-wide protests against Israel's ground incursion into Gaza are so full of hatred that they leave me with the terrible feeling that these protests have little to do with the so-called disproportionality of the Israeli response to Hamas rockets, or the resulting civilian casualties.
My fear is that the rage we see in the protesters marching in the streets is far more profound and dangerous than we would like to believe. There are a great many people in the world who, even after Auschwitz, just can't bear the Jewish state having the same rights they so readily grant to other nations. These voices insist Israel must take risks they would never dare ask of any other nation-state -- risks that threaten its very survival -- because they don't believe Israel should exist in the first place.
Just look at the spate of attacks this week on Jews and Jewish institutions around the world: a car ramming into a synagogue in France; a Chabad menorah and Jewish-owned shops sprayed with swastikas in Belgium; a banner at an Australian rally demanding "clean the earth from dirty Zionists!"; demonstrators in the Netherlands chanting "Gas the Jews"; and in Florida, protestors demanding Jews "Go back to the ovens!"
How else can we explain the double-standard that is applied to the Gaza conflict, if not for a more insidious bias against the Jewish state?

As a Christian, anti-semitism makes me ill..... Israel is going out of its way to NOT hurt the innocent, unlike Hamas.
People need to learn to treat Israelis and/or Jews the way they would want their nationality and religion treated.
This will get worse. Much worse. As increasing numbers of Middle East and North African muslims are permitted to enter Canada and the West, they will be ever bolder, ever more aggressive, and our society will suffer badly.
The car burnings, the violent riots, and worse, will become a part of life here, as they have in Europe.
It won't just be about Jews either, though they are an easy 1st target due to their small numbers and relatively peaceful non-militant nature. Bernie Farber and the other useful idiots will express shock, and "try to get along", but it won't change the fact that their grandchildren will not be able to walk safely down the street in much of Toronto and other urban areas, and that their schools will require high fences, barriers, and 24/7 security like some in England now do.
Multiculturalism and a suicidal immigration policy will destroy all that the first 100 years of Canada created. Trudeau and his ilk are the worst Canadians ever. Thanks a$$holes!
Arab terrorists kill their own people and the world think nothing of it. no protest of anykind. a mosque in badgad with women and children praying were bomb by terrorists and the arab world remain silent. so why are they so interested in what happens to palestinians.
In today news HAMAS are executing GAZANS for collaborating with the ISRAELIS. Not a peep from the arab world.
ISRAEL BELONGS TO GOD anyone that tries to erradicate ISRAEL from the face of the earth will endure GOD'S WRATH.
There are palestinians who work in Israel and know very well what the HAMAS represents and that is not love but HATE.
