More surrender in the Netherlands...
Civilians and military personnel employed by the defence ministry are allowed to swear by Allah when they take their oath. And municipal and provincial officials, too, can opt for the Islamic oath, Home Affairs Minister Guusje ter Horst says in a letter to parliament.

I don't actually see a problem with this. Swearing an oath must be meaningful to the swearee. As an atheist I'd never swear an oath to "God" as it would be a completely meaningless gesture.
You don't see anything wrong with swearing an oath to the head of a religion that views the west as an obstacle to overcome in it's quest for world wide supremacy?
The problem is NOT Islam. The problem is with some of the practitioners and followers of Islam.
I know some muslims who are the kindest and gentlest people you'd ever meet. And I've met some Christians who are violent and mean douchebags. If a Christian is a douchebag is the problem with the religion or the practitioner? It's the same with Muslims.
I don't agree to kowtowing to any religion. However, if you're going to require people to swear oaths I have no problem with people swearing them to whatever god they believe in.
