Few people show up to see Fitna....

Were they too scared to show up???
The film Fitna was shown in the British upper house of parliament on Thursday despite the British authorities' refusal to allow its maker, Dutch rightwing populist MP Geert Wilders, into the United Kingdom.

Only around 30 people attended the screening, five of them members of the upper house.

All 743 members of the upper house were invited, as were the 646 members of the lower house, none of whom attended.

I watched Fitna online and found it lacking in either artistic or expressive value. One could just as well take some Bible passages, collage some Fred Phelps and other hateful preachers' performances and call the movie "The Lamb of God".

The UK is making Wilders a martyr and he doesn't deserve that.

Luca, your relativist argument holds no water. There are real world consequences when the Imams preach hate.Thousands of people worldwide are killed each month because of their words..tens of thousands in the last decade alone.

When 'Christian' preachers foment hate ( an uncommon occurrence ) they are quickly dealt with by the courts and censured by lay Christians everywhere.

This is not seen on a wide basis in Islam, where so called moderate Muslims are cowed and bend to the hateful twisted words of radical Islam.

The words are true, yet Wilders is the one they try to prosecute. If only more Europeans had the courage of your convictions, they could make it a level playing field. They however, choose not to because they are cowards.
