A grad launched from Gaza....

The so-called ceasefire continues unabated with a Grad rocket fired from Gaza into Israel. This is the typical Hamas ceasefire - where rocket fire never really stops. And, nobody will say a word. Ban Ki-Moon will be totally silent. No, I'm wrong. He'll still be very vocal about the destruction 'caused' by Israel's war. The EU are now starting to wring their hands about why Hamas should be 'included' in peace discussions. Let's not isolate them.

They can't seem to admit that it's Hamas who doesn't make to be part of ANY peace effort. Hamas doesn't want Israel to exist, period. There's nothing to negotiate with Hamas - their charter is clear that they want to destroy Israel, and to kill all Jews as well. It would be nice, for a change, if some European leaders, would point this out - and be clear that Hamas will NEVER be tolerated because of their beliefs.

But, who am I kidding? Obamas's representative, George Mitchell, will continue to try and find some sort of 'middle' ground. Something between the 1967 truce lines and destruction! Maybe Israel will only exist on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturday.

Surprisingly, there is only one country who seems to understand the situation - and that is Canada. Makes me proud to be a Canadian. But, I don't want to feel this lonely. Couldn't we have some company, for a change???
