Geert Wilders sued in France for telling the truth...

Well, the truth hurts...T
he anti-Islamic politician is being sued by a French rights group for a speech in which he said Paris was encircled by Muslim districts.

PARIS – A French rights group said Tuesday it was suing Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders for inciting racial hatred for a speech in which he said that Paris was "encircled by Muslim districts".

The Association for the Defence of Human Rights said its lawsuit centred on a speech made in New York last year by Wilders, who is facing trial in the Netherlands for inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims.

It says Wilders also said in his address there that "numerous areas (in France) were no-go zones for women not wearing headscarves."

Wilders added that "in France, teachers are asked to avoid authors considered offensive towards Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot".

The rights group's lawyer Yassine Bouzrou told AFP that "the remarks made by Mr. Wilders target a specific community, Muslims, and that comes within the context of inciting racial hatred."
Of course, they never claim that what he said was untrue.

Europe truly is lost.

They were saved from the Nazis in WW2 primarily the US , with Canada's help , but this time around my guess is they are on their own.

It is truly amazing that the "Neville Chamberlain syndrome" of appeasement in the face of danger seems to be a genetic property of Europeans.

Hello Fred and Brian. Overhere in the Netherlands (or even EU as you will) telling the truth is not really allowed. Telling the truth is possible, but it costs loads of money, because a fine for each sentence/argument costs about 750 euros.

Today mister Wilders got furious in the non-democratic dutch 'parliament'. He and his eight partymembers left the building after his complaints about the non-debate over the financial crisis. See it for yourself (in dutch): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVatHP4cgTQ

I am very, very scared to live here in the Netherlands. If I could leave this sick country immediately, I would. In the city were I live, gay and popular MP Pim Fortuyn and 'predecessor' of mister Wilders got killed for telling the truth. The whole stinking truth about this assasination got covered up, no eyewitness was questioned by police. Police commander Joop van Riessen said that all people who do agree with Wilders must be deported from the Netherlands. See it for yourself (in dutch): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jyx8l7LSVIU
That is fine with me, I want to leave anyhow, but he did not tell who is going to help me with leaving the EU.

Who is more extreme, "Neville Chamberlain syndrome" appeasers or mister Wilders?
