The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission writes: "The following is a translation of a story from Alarabiya, a UAE-based media network, which was published on its Arabic website a few hours ago. While IGLHRC has not verified all of the allegations, many are consistent with patterns of human rights violations being reported from within the country."
The translation:"A prominent Iraqi human rights activist says that Iraqi militia have deployed a painful form of torture against homosexuals by closing their anuses using 'Iranian gum.' ... Yina Mohammad told Alarabiya.net that, 'Iraqi militias have deployed an unprecedented form of torture against homosexuals by using a very strong glue that will close their anus.' According to her, the new substance 'is known as the American hum, which is an Iranian-manufactured glue that if applied to the skin, sticks to it and can only be removed by surgery. After they glue the anuses of homosexuals, they give them a drink that causes diarrhea. Since the anus is closed, the diarrhea causes death. Videos of this form of torture are being distributed on mobile cellphones in Iraq.' According to this human rights activist, for the past 3 weeks a crackdown on homosexuals has been going on based on a religious decree that demands their death; dozens have been targeted. She says that the persecution of homosexuals is not confined to the Shiite clerics. Some Sunni leaders have also declared the death penalty for sodomy on satellite channels."

How does gluing somebody's rectum differ from that person walking around with a butt plug?? How can you kill sombody by giving them laxative?? It does not make any sense? It does not make any more sense than a claim that act of sodomy causes damage to walls of the rectum of a gay person on receptive end of that practice and causes autoinfection of abdominal cavity with bacteria and viruses contained in a fecal matter leaking into abdomen. This kind of thinking leads directly to a claim that sodomy causes AIDS condition as septic shock and AIDS both cause low white blood cells count in blood tests (white blood cells allegedly migrate from blood stream into abdominal cavity to fight infection).

Gay people suffer from bowel obstructions all the time. Ask any emergency doctor in Canada and they will tell you that they get all kinds of things (mostly dead rats) out of rectums of gay people.
Since gay people do it to each other all the time it is not such a big deal when somebody else does it to them as well.
I am positive that this trick with Crazy Glue and laxative was invented by a gay person in North America and I am also quite sure that many gays in US and Canada died that way killed by their gay partners long before Arabs ever heard of this method.
And savages like this we have let into our own countries! Thanks to our traitorous politicians who has allowed massimmigration to happen, islam is on the rise in Europe. It's like a virus spreading everywhere, demanding all this and all that.

Wow...so much ignorance in a single letter
1) Bowel obstruction is a potentially fatal emergency situation. Last I heard, gay people do not kill each other for fun. Hence, one can assume that such accidents are dealt with medically, and are not the intended consequence of sexplay. (And by the way, heterosexuals stick things up their butts too.)
2) When bowel obstructions occur in the West they are are, presumably, followed up by a trip to the doctor's office to fix the problem before death results. Obivously the gays in Iraq are not being allowed to do that. Hence they die. If you don't understand the difference between those two situations, I honestly don't know how to explain it.

As for this situation, it reminds me of the Japanese atrocities in China in the mid 20th century, more than anything else. I remember a report of soldiers tying together the legs of pregnant women when they were ready to give birth, so that they and their baby died in agony. I think that's a little more relevant to this situation than "hey, it's just a butt plug".
I am not an expert but it seems to me that homosexual researcher Douglas Victor Janoff tells it like it is: homosexuality is driven by subconscious aggression and act of sodomy is an attempted murder in disguise.

GAYBASHING / Defence mechanisms: blocking out the violence

I've just spent nearly a quarter of my life, off and on, researching the darkness that haunts our community. The result is my book, Pink Blood: Homosexual Violence in Canada, which chronicles over a hundred killings and more than 350 queer on queer bashing incidents that have occurred in Canada since 1990.
Depressing? Obviously, but what's really distressing is when friends say to me, "I bought your book, but I had to put it down. It's just too disturbing."
I wrote Pink Blood because there was a serious lack of information on the topic, but now I'm forced to ponder something even more disturbing: will anything really change? Will our community take the ball and run with it?
The defence mechanisms we've developed along the way that shield us from endemic to gay community homophobia and violence may prevent us from making the necessary changes. Here are some of the ways our community drops the ball when homosexual violence rears its ugly head.
DEFLECTION
"Doug, you must have been really victimized to want to write this book." Right, so this is all about me; tilting at windmills, trying to right a terrible wrong because I've been so brutally victimized. It's true. I've had some horrible experiences. But so have a lot of other people. I don't think others need to experience what I went through in order to engage in the issue of homosexual violence. A little empathy is all that's needed.
TRIVIALIZATION
In this scenario, violence is not such a bad thing after all. One man in Vancouver, who was raped in his apartment by an intruder, complained that his gay male friends offered him no support whatsoever. In fact, they continually joked about it and said he must have enjoyed it. In Toronto, a gay male journalist wrote a column complaining that a straight journalist just didn't understand queer culture. He suggested that this man should "go to a bathhouse and put his saggy ass in the air, his face in a pillow and see who rams him from behind... I will happily supply the condoms and a lot of lube (cuz God knows he'll need it)." This points to a darker pathology: gay men who believe that forced sex is inevitable, so why not enjoy it?
DENIAL
It's impossible to take a stand against that which you deny exists. In Victoria, a man with a concealed knife walked into a bar not realising it was a gay bar. He tried dancing with a young woman, then stabbed her several times on the dance floor before attempting to escape. He explained later that she had "rejected" him. The kicker: the victim said, "I don't believe this was any sort of gay issue... This can happen to anyone, and it doesn't matter if you're homosexual or heterosexual." Homosexuals always imply that the basher denies his involvement but in this case, even the victim went out of her way to deny that homophobia was a motivating factor. Despite of her denial BC homosexuals still insist that it was a homophobic hate crime.
SELECTIVE ENGAGEMENT
We take a stand against homosexual violence-but only sometimes. In 1998, after Matthew Shepard was killed in Wyoming by a bi-sexual, memorial vigils were held across Canada. But in a one-year period around the time of his death, six Canadian gay men were killed by their homosexual partners. There were no vigils for them. We took our cues from the American media. In some ways, it's easier to mourn someone else's loss than our own.
Even when we do mourn our own, it's spotty.
In Ottawa, the murder of one gay man in his apartment by another homosexual sparked a candlelight vigil. Six months later, a similar incident was ignored. In Toronto, the community organized a vigil for murder victim Cassandra Do, http://www.spoc.ca/bd0304.html tanssexual prostitute killed by one of her clients but there was no vigil for psychiatrist Henry Durost who died under similar circumstances, http://archives.xtra.ca/Story.aspx?s=15021608 killed in his apartment by a homosexual prostitute.
DEFERRING TO AUTHORITY
In many jurisdictions in this country, the police have no reliable systems that keep track of hate crimes that are motivated by homosexual deviancy.
We all pay to support the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a police force that has done precious little on a national level to work with our community. And in Ontario, the Ontario Provincial Police has spent millions on a hate crime unit that does not produce statistics about homosexual violence. That doesn't mean queer on queer bashing doesn't exist in these jurisdictions; it means we haven't demanded that it be addressed.
In 1990, dozens of queer protestors were beaten and jailed by the Montreal police. Even though the violence was captured on television, the police were not prosecuted. In fact, they never even issued an apology.
And yet, people get charged with sexual assaults that happened 40 years ago.
A small group of local activists tried, but they could only do so much. Without generous legal and financial support on a national scale, these abuses will continue to go unchallenged.
In Montreal, several gay men have reportedly received out-of-court settlements after being beaten by the police. Why did they take the cheques and agree to keep to their mouths shut? Chances are, if some of these victims had the legal and financial backing of a strong, vocal queer civil liberties group they would have spoken out, but in the absence of such support perhaps they feared losing everything if they took on the police alone.
INTERNALIZATION
"We do it to ourselves."
In this variation, the violence happens because, as a community, we're so fucked up that we turn on each other.
In Ottawa, for example, a predator found his gay victims on Cruiseline. He would go to their houses and attack and rob them. He told one victim, "I will kill you, cocksucker."
After he pleaded guilty to 38 charges in 10 separate incidents, he explained to police that he was actually bisexual.
Because of this admission, the police concluded that the assaults were not technically gaybashings; robbery was the primary motive. Besides, how could the perpetrator be a gaybasher if he was bi himself?
The chair of the police liaison committee, an organization that supposedly represents the interests of the queer community, didn't question the police on this approach. Instead, she thanked them for their diligence.
We need to acknowledge that the violence we inflict, even on one another, can be homophobic in its intent.
Would it kill us to demand justice?
Do we have a choice? Doing nothing is killing us anyway.

But when a Grand Wizard, the highest ranked member of the KKK, came out of the closet last week and announced his homosexuality, some were baffled while others were supportive.
“I am proud to announce that I am a homosexual,” said John Carolina, the Grand Wizard. “And I want everybody to know that this development will not interfere with my goal towards the construction of a white nation.”
Mr. Carolina was seen at the meeting with his significant other, William Maddox. Though Maddox is not a member of the KKK, he voiced his support, saying “I am behind John in everything he does. I’m just glad that he found the courage to live freely and without fear. He can finally be himself.”
Johnathon Carolina has been an active member of the KKK since he was 14 years old. And though he admits to having protested homosexuality in the past, it wasn’t until 16 that he realized he was gay. At first, John says, he vigorously denied it and tried to suppress his homosexual feelings, but when he met another Klansman that was gay, he became more open to his sexuality.
John went through roughly 6 homosexual relationships with various klansmen before he found William Maddox, who encouraged him to be open about his sexuality and accept who he is.
“Homosexuality is rampant in the KKK,” John says. “But everybody is very quiet about it. It’s very suppressed. I am hoping to finally bring all the klansmen out of the closet!”
Since John has come out, over 300 other klansmen have followed suit, finally being who they are after years of suppression.
“It’s a wonderful day,” says James Werman, a life-time member of the KKK. “And I march towards the day when I can walk down the streets, hand in hand with my boyfriend, living and breathing in a uniformly white nation.”

You have a reference for this comment? Because I've read his page for this book and it doesn't say anything like that anywhere. Is that an actual quote from somewhere, or you perhaps paraphrasing inaccurately?
As worded above, this statement would be a direct contradiction of current scientific research in the field, in that it implies the "cause" of homosexuality is an emotional imbalance.
