Should schools close for muslim holidays???
Let's hope they don't do this...
A Connecticut school district representing two towns is considering a proposal to close schools on two Muslim holidays.
The Region 16 Board of Education is expected to take up the proposal this week from the Student Council.
The board represents Prospect and Beacon Falls.
The resolution asks the board not to hold classes on the day that marks the end of the fasting period of Ramadan. The second is the day that concludes the annual observance of the pilgrimage to Mecca.

..and right after that, they can have bhurka week at school, where the veiled female teachers have to wash the feet of Muslim students before their prayers in the school gymnasium.
