Sweden thinking of a curfew for Malmo....

Things are getting out of hand...
Politicians from the Moderate and Sweden Democrat parties in Malmö are calling for a nighttime curfew for youth in the Rosengård neighbourhood, claiming that the situation at the Herrgården housing area has become untenable.

Anja Sonesson, the moderate opposition councilor, wants to see a curfew put in place as a temporary emergency measure and as a complement to other, more long-term solutions.

“If I want to see anything happen tomorrow, I think that a curfew is necessary. I also think it’s necessary to ban individuals who are known to the police as troublemakers from entering the area,” she says.

She says the ban would be a way to stop “individuals who are drawn to, and gather around, trouble spots.”

According to Sonesson, the situation at Herrgården, with numerous fires, fights and other disturbances, requires a tough public response.

Have Swedish youth always been such troublemakers?

Comments to the article allege that it is Muslim thugs causing all the violence, but the article says nothing.

Cowardly 'journalists'.

All the laws they presumably have on the books right now, and that have kept Malmõ and Sweden relatively calm and orderly up until now, are obviously not working, I'm not sure a curfew is going to make much difference. Sit back, watch Malmö burn and reflect on 25 years of misguided immigration policy.
