I was also there with my male partner trying to enjoy Ottawa's Gay Pride Parade. There is nothing that I can't stand more than these idiots trying to turn something fun into a political rally. Don't they have anything better to do?
I heard a similarly gratting chant coming from them. Something to the effect of:
"Tear down the wall. Tear off your clothes"

I saw these guys yesterday...I agree! After we won the right to gay marriage, homophobia in Canada is officially OVER...there's no need for politics at pride anymore.
Their slogans were so sexually perverse...why do they have to flaunt that out in public like that? Can't they keep it to themselves? There's no place for sexual perversion at gay pride parade.
