Watch the NDP....
Here we go with yet another anti-Israel resolution...Below is an NDP resolution being presented at the upcoming NDP convention in Halifax.
4-58-09 Re-affirming Commitment to Lasting Peace in Middle East
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the New Democratic Party of Canada actively campaign for the Right of Return for all refugees, an end to the Israeli settlements and Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands, a halt to the armed aggression, the bulldozing of homes, the destruction of olive groves and farms, the assassination of political leaders and activists by the Zionist state, and the removal of the apartheid wall, still under construction across the West Bank.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the New Democratic Party of Canada call for restoration of aid to the Palestine Authority, demand a halt to military aid, investment and trade with Israel until all the above demands are met, and that the New Democratic Party of Canada campaign for an end to the rule of apartheid laws that make Israeli Arabs and Palestinians second and third class citizens under occupation.

In the Bible, the Lord when refering to Israel, says, "they are the apple of mine eye" So who is Jack trying to impersonate, when he and the NDP vote on these motions. What difference will it make?

umm... that is plenty more than a single glint of protectionism.
Though their "reasons" alone are absurd, this is the last thing anyone should be suggesting to any country, let alone a democratic nation such as Israel. Who by the way is an ally.
But clearly not according to the NDP.
