EU declares war on Israel....

How else can you interpret what these lawyers are doing???
Human rights lawyers and pro-Palestinian activists in a number of European countries hold lists with names of Israel Defense Forces soldiers allegedly linked to war crimes committed during Operation Cast Lead in the Gaza Strip. Existing legislation enables arrest warrants to be issued against these officers if they enter those countries.

Lawyers in Britain and other European countries have been collecting testimonies of Palestinians and other data from Gaza since January, which they maintain proves that war crimes were committed by the IDF during the offensive. The evidence is linked to IDF officers holding ranks of battalion commander and higher, who were in command during various stages of Cast Lead.

The other nations who have lawyers collecting information on the matter include the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium and Norway, whose laws, as well as Britain's, allow the issuance of arrest warrants against foreign citizens suspected of war crimes.

Attorney Daniel Makover from London is coordinating the efforts in Britain. One of his colleagues visited the Gaza Strip several weeks after the fighting in order to collect testimonies. Palestinians civilians also gave the legal assistant their approval, and asked that he file the suits in their name, in line with British law.

Also collecting evidence to arrest any Palestinians on the list also. We must have declared war on them both.

Fascists in Europe died out after WWII, so for some reason they decided to import tens of millions. Palestinian fascists have especially strong support among the 'intellectual' crowd that lives off the government at Universities of Thought.

Lucy, do you use "we" to mean the anti-Israel contingent of addled hippies, far-left fruitcakes, pathetic dhimmis, deluded Marxists and Wahhabi Muslims?

It might be good to have someone from the IDF arrested and taken to court.

A fair trial in Britain might finally expose the truth about the lies created by the raving mad anti-Israel loons and their witch hunt.

But never a trial in Europe! Their legal system is a joke!

Actually, it 'we' as in us Europeans. Any particular one of the countries that make up Europe where the legal system is a joke or all across Europe in general? I do hear the courts in Azerbaijan are not of such a high standard and i'm not even sure Liechtenstein has any courts.

That's funny Lucy, I'm a Brit not a European, is this a new definition the left has tried to inflict on we Brits?

I concur: French, Italian, German or any other European justic is a rip roaring joke.

Research Common Law (which Britain gave to the US, Canada and the Commonwealth) vs European Civil Law, and you'll see why European "justice" is anything but.

Last time i checked my atlas Britain was in Europe. I'm also pretty certain that we play in the European Championship every 4 years, British teams play in the European Champions League and we even take part in the Eurovision song contest.
Unless Britian is now actually part of South America, Asia, North America, Australasia or Antarctica, your continent is Europe therefore you and i are both Europeans. If you disagree then you should be more worried about the state of the education system in the area you were schooled rather than the justice system.

Lucy, ask 100 Britons how they perceive their identity. Very few will say "European".

This history of Britain is one of seperation from Europe. The majority of people, I'm guessing, would consider themselves closer to the US, Australia and Canada than France, Belgium or Hungary.

Also Israel is in the Eurovision. They must be Europeans too :D

Whilst your assertion that Britons are Europeans may be technically correct in a fastidious and pedantic manner, it bears very little resemblance to the facts on the ground.

If you think Brits are European, why not go further and say "we're all humans, man. One world family!"

Also Israel and Turkey are both in the European Champions League and Eurovision.

Basing politics on football and singing contests probably isn't the best example you could have used.

Israel in Europe.
For someone so keen to stand by Israel, your grasp on history is stunningly ignorant. Brilliantly and amazingly ignorant and i didn't expect much from you but you even failed to reach those low standards.
I would suggest you go read a book on the subject before you embarass yourselves anymore and the remark that Turkey isn't in Europe isn't even worthy of me ridiculing. You obviously do not have the first clue what you are talking about.
I would certainly forget the justice system and aim your ire at whatever education Authority you went to school under. Or seemingly didn't go to school under.
Britain and Turkey isn't in Europe. Jaw droppingly stunning.

Lucy, Israel isn't in Europe, despite your formula that any country partaking in Eurovision or European football competitions must be European.

As well as your poor attempt at outrageous patronizing vitriol, you are actually factually incorrect: Israel is NOT in Europe, and the only part of Turkey that is geographically in Europe is that above the Bosphorus Strait - a mere 3% of the country.

All that counts for nothing, as your claims that singing contests make a country European.

Quite stunning actually.

You're not being a very nice lefty - but a typical one.

I am a very nice lefty but to claim that Britain and Turkey is not in Europe is ignorance of the highest order. I can't even begin to tell you how stunned i was to read it. If you didn't know or was unsure, a 10 second google search would have saved you looking so utterly foolish.

I used the Eurovision and European Football because i was trying to pitch it at a level you could understand. Not to be patronising, but looking at your other bizarre claims, i aimed low.
