Man tries to poison his 3 daughters....

The Beersheba District Court sentenced a man to 15 years in prison for attempted poisoning of three of his daughters on Sunday.

The indictment against the Beduin father of eight, claimed that a year ago, the man coated chocolates with a toxic pesticide and instructed his son to give them to three of his daughters.

According to the indictment, the son gave the candies to his mother because he suspected his father of tampering with them and when the mother tasted them she fell unconscious and was taken to the hospital.

The indictment revealed a longstanding dispute between the parents that surrounded their opposing claims for custody of the children. The man was charged with attempted murder, use of toxins and expressing threats against his ex-wife's brother.
