Arrest. Them. All.

I have no problems with a protest, but why do they have to vandalize property???
Anti-Olympic protesters are clashing with police on the streets of Vancouver on the first full day of the 2010 Winter Games.

Vancouver Police say a group of more than 200 masked protesters have amassed in the downtown core, kicking and vandalizing cars and businesses.

Police say some of the protesters are throwing things at police and spray painting vehicles and transit buses.

Organizer Harsha Walia says there were several hundred protesters gathered in the downtown and witnesses say the windows of the HBC Olympic superstore were smashed.

Why?

Because they are pathetic losers, people who have failed in life, non-productive members of society, non-contributors, rent seeking leeches who take from us and give nothing back.

Absolute, utter failures as human beings, so angry at their own cheap, trivial pathetic lives they lash out as a means of trying to convince themselves they actually matter to someone, anyone.

Typical Success-Envy by pathetic punks from Middle-Class homes that still let them live in the basement for free and surf the Internet for Star Trek conventions or 9/11-Truther chat rooms that prove that Bush was behind 9/11 to keep the Oil prices at $28.00 a barrel.

Those poor atheletes that worked hard for almost 4 years on a mere hand-out from Government so they could be something one day on a Global scale, now these useless punks protesting have caused shame on TV from the International Communities that respected use for our Charter Of Rights to eke out a living free of violence or public disruptions to silence free exptression.

maybe it's time to build a Public protest stadium with built0in media cameras to cover them and this way any Yahoos or village idiots can go there and bee seen on the Internet or live feed to TV stations.
Either that, or they post their Addresses so I can come to their home and ruin their day with chants and throw objects at their houses.

Seems fair....right?

It would be fair to charge them with the cost of the damage and security for the protest.

If you want to have 200 of your wingnut friends protest against gravity for instance you should have to pay like every other law abiding group does when they book a space for an event.

Officials knew the agenda of these folks. It's only fair they are held accountable to the taxpayers for their costs.

Harsha Walia: Yeah, the Games are going to happen. We’re going to do our best to make sure the Games don’t go as smoothly as they would like. After the Games I’m sure part or our time and our resources will go into legal defense. We can expect massive, massive police oppression during the Games. There’s no reason to believe Vancouver will be any exception to prior Olympic games. And again, $1 billion going into security measures, already a huge amount of police surveillance and intimidation of activists, so there’s no doubt there will be a lot of people suffering from police oppression.

If you book space in a park for a BBQ or a hall for a dance you are responsible for damage, security, clean up etc.

The same standard for the angy left.

So far the olympics are a farce if you ask me. First we have a controversial death on day 1. Organizers admit no fault but they change the competition and facility? I guess they don't want to be sued. Second, the weather, I thought the winter olympics should be held in a place where they have snow? Third, all the looney left protests, of which we can expect more before its over. Next will be a poor showing by Canadians on the podium, hoping that is not the case of course. I also find it funny that the guy that died hit the 13th post on Feb 12th? Is Georgia not in conflict with Russia these days too? Hmmm.... (real conservative)
