Omar Shaban is the former VP of the Canadian Arab Federation who celebrated Canada Day on July 1, 2009 as “Fuck Canada Day.” He is back in the news, but with a changed spelling of last name. This time as a candidate for the presidency of the University of British Columbia students council.
Will the student body of this esteemed Canadian institution allow Omar Shaban or Chaaban, a man who has contempt for Canada, get elected as president? Time will tell, but I will not be surprised if he succeeds. In an era when the RCMP is willing to kowtow to Islamists, expressing “regret” for arresting jihadi terror suspects during the month of Ramadan, anything is possible.
Only time will tell if the disease that affects guilt-ridden white liberals has now spread to their university-going sons and daughters.
Stay tuned. UBC students go to the polls on January 21, 2011.

If we submit a complaint about the profanity to the appropriate commission, can this person be banned in Canada?
