About the Book:
"The science is settled" has become both a mantra for political activists who believe in man-made global warming and a club to beat down anyone who opposes their anti-industrial, anti-capitalism agenda. But is it true? This is the question that David Solway set out to answer in layman terms. His conclusion: the preponderance of evidence refutes the activist’s dogma. In Global Warning: The Trials of an Unsettled Science, Solway presents the “science” in a style suited to the average citizen who wants nothing more than to learn the truth.

What People Are Saying:
“Nowhere will you find a more succinct, yet penetrating and comprehensive, account of the whole man-made global-warming fiasco than David Solway's book -- in which he cogently sums up the hucksters' and hysterics' arguments, dismantles them with surgical precision, and, in closing, ponders with wit and insight the all-important question: how is it that such nonsensical ideas were formulated, disseminated, and so widely embraced in the first place?”
Bruce Bawer, author, While Europe Slept
“David Solway has written an elegant takedown of the biggest, most costly and most dangerous hoax in modern times.”
David Horowitz, FrontPage Magazine
“For the layman who wishes to be thoroughly informed but does not have time to read all the primary sources, David Solway has provided a definitive and accessible account of the flaws in the so-called science of global warming.”
Janice Fiamengo, professor of english, University of Ottawa
“Besides deftly snipping every crackpot theory to bits -- making Global Warning the indispensable “climate change” reference -- this wise and wonderful little book has deeper questions to ponder. “It is the weather of the soul that changed for the worse,” Solway writes, and if the forecast is bleak, the author’s wisdom is illuminating.”
Diana West, columnist, Washington Times
“This is both a fierce and amusing look at what may well be the greatest scam of the modern age—the myth of global warming. One can only laugh and wonder at the absurdity which Solway has masterfully exposed.” Jamie Glazov, author, United in Hate
“Global Warning” is a devastating indictment of the claim that science has proven that climate change is caused by human activity. It is a must-read for policy-makers and voters alike."
Joseph C. Ben-Ami, President of the Canadian Centre for Policy Studies.
