Part of the 3rd Annual Free Thinking Film Festival 2012
November 3, 2012, 11:00 AM
Library & Archives Canada, Room A
395 Wellington, Ottawa
Admission: $12 or with Festival Pass. This film is part of a double feature with "The Invisible Men" about the plight of gay Palestinians.
Producer Martin Gladstone will be in attendance to answer questions.
An examination of Queers Against Israeli Apartheid and why they bring a message of hate to Toronto’s Gay Pride March.
“The film pulls together a large body of public opinion from all political parties and a cross-section of society to answer the question of why it’s hateful,” said Gladstone. “It slowly unpackages and shows that the false narrative put forward [by anti-Israel groups], in fact, is rooted in a deep hatred of Israel and, by extension, Jews.”
