Mass murder is alive and well. That is the stark conclusion of this comprehensive investigation into the Chinese state's secret program to eliminate political dissidents while profiting from the sale of their organs - in many cases, to Western recipients. Based on interviews with top-ranking police officials, Chinese doctors who have killed prisoners on the operating table, and prisoners of conscience who survived, veteran China analyst Ethan Gutmann has produced a riveting insider's account - culminating in a death toll that will shock the world.

Ethan Gutmann will be in Ottawa to present the findings from his book, followed by a panel discussion on how Canada should handle China.

Members of the panel will include:

Moderator: Rabbi Reuven Bulka is chair of Ontario’s Trillium Gift of Life Network and a member of the board of Canadian Blood Services.

- Dr. Damon Noto is a spokesperson for DAFOH, a non-profit organization founded by medical doctors, which does research on and monitors the unethical organ procurement situation globally, and currently focuses on the transplant situation in China. DAFOH works with doctors around the world to inform medical communities and society.

- Matthew Robertson is an award-winning senior China reporter with Epoch Times, which has won awards in both Canada and the U.S. for its China news coverage. In 2013, Robertson received the Society of Professional Journalists’ Sigma Delta Chi Award for Excellence in Journalism.

- David Matas is an international human rights lawyer, an Order of Canada recipient, senior legal counsel for Amnesty International in Canada, co-author of Bloody Harvest: the Killing of Falun Gong for their Organs and State Organs: Transplant Abuse, and a Nobel Peace Prize nominee for his work combating forced organ harvesting in China along with David Kilgour. Matas has received many prestigious awards in Canada and other countries for his work in law and human rights.

Book signing by Ethan Gutmann will take place following the panel discussion.

Thankfully PM Harper has made it 100% clear to the Chinese government that Canada will not tolerate any form of human rights violations as a condition of conducting business with each other. China really know that they got to watch their step when dealing with Mr. Harper.
