A recipe for disaster!

Shira Herzog has an op-ed in today's Toronto Globe & Mail entitled, "Will Hamas become the camel in the Palestinian tent?" At the end of her piece, is a telling paragraph and a recipe for disaster:

Ask any Palestinian how Israel can help Mr. Abbas and you'll get the same answer: release prisoners; accelerate transfer of authority in West Bank towns to the Palestinian Authority; remove Israel checkpoints and halt settlement construction and the barrrier separating Jerusalem from the West Bank. But all of thse are unlikely in the curent Israeli political atmosphere focused strictly on disengagement from Gaza.

Wow! Not one word about Abbas disarming terrorists. Just a recipe for disaster. Just how many unilateral steps are the Israelis to take before the Palestinians seriously tackle terrorism?
