Gay-bashing in Amsterdam...

This is another worrying sign about the Netherlands.Chris Cain, Editor of the Gay newspaper Washington Blade was gay-bashed in Amsterdam. Here's what happened.

Crain wrote that he and his boyfriend were near a popular gay area and walking back to their hotel when two men passing by spat at them, hitting Crain in the face. They confronted the men and asked why they had done that.

"The man, who looked in his 20s, had Moroccan features and spoke with a heavy accent, murmured something about 'fucking fags,'" Crain wrote.

From seemingly nowhere, he wrote, five more men appeared and ganged up on Crain, who stands 6-foot-7. "It seemed like every direction I turned, I got another punch to the face, and when they kicked me to the ground, time seemed to stop," he wrote.

It's time not to be tolerant of intolerance....
