I wish our newspapers would report on this...
Spousal violence against men is a big problem, but our media just won't discuss it. This article is from The Independent in the UK.
For centuries, women have been stereotyped as the passive victims of violence and aggression. Yet experts are now warning that record numbers of men are being physically abused by their stressed- out wives and girlfriends. The latest Stats Canada figures show an almost equal number of abusive wives as husbands.
New figures show that the number of calls to domestic violence helplines from male victims has more than doubled over the past five years. And now one of the world's leading feminist journals will investigate the issue of male abuse for the first time in its history: the Psychology of Women Quarterly will devote a whole edition to research on violent women and their behaviour towards men.
Until now, domestic violence has been seen by police and ministers as an issue which blights the lives of women rather than men. Their policies are based on Home Office figures, which show that one in four women suffer abuse in the home compared with one in six men.

In society's rush to create ultra sensitive men and aggressive women the whole dynamics between the sexes is changing. I know personally quite a few couples where the husband is very passive and the wife orders him around and treats him unfairly. These days, with all our "You go girl!!" and hilarity over girls kicking guys in the crotch, it's no wonder there are women that feel it's their right to abuse these men. It's sickening.
I agree, and this does not surprise me in the least. Women will end up to be worse than men if people don't learn that abuse in all it's forms, caused by FEAR by the way, has got to stop.
