My name is Fred and I am a gay conservative living in Ottawa. This blog supports limited government, the right of the State of Israel to live in peace and security, and tries to expose the threat to us all from cultural relativism, post-modernism, and radical Islam. Martin all of a sudden cares about religion...

Gee, the Liberals are floundering. The plain fact of the matter is that, in our secular society, we can handle an election in December. Look at Boxing Day - we have no problem lining up to exchange/purchase all sorts of junk. So, for us to take some time out of our holidays to think about the leadership and direction of this country is not something that is impossible.

If Martin truly cared about religion - he could just accept the NDP motion and call an election in January.

Liberals are 8% ahead of the Tories. Is that what you call floundering?

Or how about this. The combined vote of the Progressive Conservatives and the Alliance, at the time of merger, was 38%. HArper squandered that and the combined party has not emerged above 30%.

Who's floundering?
