Jack endorses the Bloc?

Has Jack lost it?
Layton sent a message to separatists during his morning stop, telling them in French that "if you believe that Canada is a country you don't want to be a part of anymore, then you will vote for the Bloc."

Layton also insisted that the Bloc and its provincial cousin the Parti Quebecois have not been as bad for the country as the Liberals in the wake of AdScam.

"The Liberals couldn't do what's right when it came to keeping their hands out of the public till," Layton said.

"In the process they did more damage to the unity of this country than the Parti Quebecois or the Bloc Quebecois could ever have hoped to do."
Yes, the Liberals are bad, but please don't say you prefer the Bloc or the PQ to the Liberals.

If you believe that social values are more important than the economy, then you will vote for the Conservatives. There you go. That's my "endorsement".

The NDP runs candidates in Quebec who are open supporters of sovereignty. For example ,the NDP candidate in Vercheres, Simon Vallee, is a regular on the rabble blogs and he openly supports separation and the PQ. The NDP tolerates it because they want a handful nationalist votes to give them some credibility in a province where they don't have a chance. Plus let's not forget Jack said he's recognize a UDI after a Yes win in a referendum.
