The climate change conference hit a major roadblock yesterday when the United States rejected even a watered-down proposal for future talks on cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

Considering there's a large segment of scientists who think that we have already passed the point of no return in the human impact on climate, all these conferences really are pointless. We're fucked, let's figure out how to be less fucked.
