That's just the point.

What do defenders of Israel prefer, the dissembler who talks well, but commits many acts of terrorism of hidden authorship?

Or, the outright opponent, equally militant, but operating in the open, and honestly representative of the sad state of the Palestinians.

I know that Anwar Sa'dat went with the latter choice in M. Begin.
