More threats, little action.
The European Union will not provide funding to a Hamas-led Palestinian government "unless it seeks peace by peaceful means," a senior EU official said Friday.
"We have set down some principles against which we review funding" for the incoming Palestinian government, EU External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner said. "Money will not flow to the new (Palestinian) authority unless it seeks peace by peaceful means."
