Prince Philip and the Nazis...
A new book claims that Prince Philip had admiration for the Nazis and held 'inhibitions about Jews.'
The book also shows damning pictures of Prince Philip and members of his family dressed in full SS and other Nazi regalia. Another photo shows Philip’s sister sitting near Hitler at a wedding.
The 84-year-old Philip attempted to explain his family’s sympathy to the Nazis. "I can understand people latching on to be something or somebody who appeared to be appealing to their patriotism and trying to get things going,” he said. “You can understand how attractive it was.”
Philip added that there was "a lot of enthusiasm for the Nazis at the time, the economy was good, we were anti-Communist and who knew what was going to happen to the regime?"
While openly expressing sympathy for the Nazis, the Prince was far more circumspect about his family’s anti-Semitism. He said that he was not "conscious of anybody in the family actually expressing anti-Semitic views," but acknowledged that that there were "inhibitions about the Jews" and "jealousy of their success."
Philip’s four sisters married German princes and three of them became members of the Nazi party.

Thank god his grandkids haven't taken after him or their father.
Well, not if you count Prince Harry and his SS Officer Halloween stunt. -)
Make all the smartass comments you want anonymous (those who post anonymously are cowards), Harry's got a lot more integrity than you'll ever have.

And those who call anonymous posters cowards usually cannot argue the facts, which is why they choose to attack the poster.
And how do you know he's got more integrity? Do you know me personally? Do you know the Prince personally?
What a joke.
"And those who call anonymous posters cowards usually cannot argue the facts, which is why they choose to attack the poster."
Why don't you want people to know your identity you fuckin' asshole? You're like one of Zarqawi's hacks who love to cover their faces when they love to pose for the cameras.

In this day and age, that above statement, after only two typed exchanges, confirms exactly why I choose to remain anonymous.
"You're like one of Zarqawi's hacks who love to cover their faces when they love to pose for the cameras".

Comparing someone who chooses to remain anonymous to a terrorist. Clearly you are in control of yourself.
I'd continue this battle of wits, but you're obviously unarmed. You're dismissed. Summarily.

Not only are you a coward, but also a chicken.

See what I mean? You're proving my point yet again. People like you attack the anonymity of the poster because you cannot successfully argue with what he or she has to say.
"Chicken". I thought a comment like that went out in grade three. How........pathetic. Go back to your sandbox.
(Waves hand at you dismissively).
