British Tory MP Goes Insane....
Does he not know his own European history?
Sir Peter Tapsell, a Tory MP, said Tuesday that British Prime Minister Tony Blair was "colluding" with U.S. President George W. Bush in giving Israel the okay to wage "unlimited war" in Lebanon - a war crime he claimed was "gravely reminiscent of the Nazi atrocity on the Jewish quarter of Warsaw."

Whether you like it or not, many people agree with the British Conservative MP.
Unfortunately, for the Blair government in Britain, and the Harper government here in Canada, we are not prepared to out-Bush GW Bush...Though personally I agree with the Harper stance with the State of Israel, it will deeply hurt him in the long run. There are too many deaths of innocent Lebanese to be wholly and unconditionally in favour of Israel; the Liberals are right in this case....Canada should be as neutral as possible. There are many Arab Canadian votes that will be lossed in the process.
I'm glad Harper doesn't see things in the mode of what will get him the most votes and instead sees things as right or wrong. Israel is right to protect itself from terrorists and Harper is right to support Isreael.
Sean P, if people agree that fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, even though they use civilians as shields, is anything like Nazis attacking the Jews in Warsaw, then such people should be shunned in polite society.
Anonymous,
You should go to the average Canadian university campus and hear the rage against the State of Israel.
Rich kids in University always support the fascists - they're rich kids, they have a grand sense of entitlement which they think should include telling others how to live - and who should live.
Listen to them - they're often eco-fascists, they'll lecture others about eating meat, they admire fascist dictators/killers by wearing images of them on T-shirts.
And they get extremely upset when others don't agree them - they just can't fathom it, especially when mommy, daddy, teachers and the store clerks always kissed their asses.
