Feeding meat to children is child abuse? Excuse me, but meat is absolutely essential to children's diets.
Peta, the animal rights group renowned for its extreme actions, has launched its latest campaign to promote vegetarianism by suggesting the feeding of meat to kids is bad parenting and tantamount to child abuse.
Playing heavily on the conscience of parents the campaign states: “Feeding children meat is child abuse. Stuffing your kids full of burgers and bangers will not only make them fat and lethargic – it may also set them up for a host of health problems, including heart disease, diabetes and several types of cancer.”

No it is not.
Typically of fanatics they assume the people they are targeting are too stupid to see through propaganda. Feeding "burgers and bangers" to your kids may not be wise, but then vegetarians would not be wise to feed their kids poison oak or hemlock. Waiting for The Meat Council's PSA: "Feeding children plants is child abuse! Stuffing your kids full of poison oak and hemlock will cause serious health complications, possibly even death!"
