Greenpeace shows its stripes...again...
Greenpeace has no credibility....
One of Britain’s largest power stations was running at a quarter of its output today after Greenpeace activists breached the site and chained their bodies to facilities.
Didcot power plant had already been operating at half of its capacity for maintenance reasons before the occupation, but output was reduced by a further 25 per cent following the break-in.
Police were negotiating with 10 protesters who attached themselves to a chimney this morning at the Oxfordshire coal-fired plant, which serves three million customers when it is running on full capacity.
Greenpeace said that 30 of its members invaded the site shortly after 5.30am.
One group hit emergency stop buttons on conveyor belts carrying coal and attached themselves to machinery.

Is it really that easy to break in to a power generation plant? Wow!

Why is it that we have police forces in Western countries anymore? They simply refuse to enforce the law in so many cases, here in Canada as well.
Greenpeace have a lot of experience at this type of thing. And its not a nuclear plant, so there wouldn't be that much of a reason to secure it... worst terrorists could do would be to truck-bomb part of it.
I'm not impressed. Our police are such a soft touch now that this kind of stunt means nothing.
I want to see them try shutting down one of those Chinese power stations that gets opened every few days.
Do Greenpeace members emit less polution than coal? They were there they should have died for the cause and had some one measure it.
