Just deny them treatment....
More and more Muslims are refusing to allow a male gynaecologist to attend at their wives' deliveries, says the head of gynaecology at the Brussels University Hospital VUB and the Ghent University Hospital. Various newspapers have reported on the problem.The Flemish Association of Gynaecologists are urging for a strict, uniform policy in all hospitals. The phenomenon is common particularly in cities with a large immigrant population.

If Muslim women die in childbirth, Muslim men can simply buy more. So this is not really an issue.

Why would anyone want to deal with these people anyway?
Actually, the problem probably would come because while the male ObsGyn people would be grateful, the female ObsGyn doctors would find themselves overwhelmed by a bunch of smelly, language deficient, demanding and hard to manage patients, and be driven out of practice.

I find your comments way more ignorant, hate-filled and bigoted than anything I've ever read on this blog.
The post simply states a fact. The same unreasonable request has actually been made in a couple of Montreal hospitals and is indicative to me of a backward, sexist, medieval attitude.
Stating that opinion is Fred's right. If you disagree, defend the opposite position, defend the Muslim demand for special treatment. Don't attack the person, try to convince us your opinion is as valid as Fred's.
Until you do that in a polite, civilized way, you are the hate-spewing bigot !!
